Facilities / Fundraiser Requirements and Procedures:

All requests for facilities and fundraiser must be submitted in writing to the Director of Activities, James Nolan. Click the link above to submit your request. 

Any outside organization interested in renting space or facilities from Holy Cross High School must provide a certificate of insurance.  Please see the document listed in the “Facilities Forms” section on the left-hand side of this page for information about the required documentation for insurance.  Once the date, space, and pricing of an event is approved, a contract will be issued to the outside organization.

 

Rental fees:

 

Nonprofit Organizations:

Exempt from fees unless there are additional costs to the Principal of Education.

 

Custodial fee: $45.00 per hour per custodian (minimum of 2 hours)

 

Rental Fees:

$15.00 per hour per classroom

$50.00 per hour for use of Gymnasium

$75.00 per hour for use of Auditorium

$100.00 per hour (minimum of 2 hours) for use of Kitchen or Cafeteria

$50.00 per hour (minimum of 2 hours) for use of Kitchen or Cafeteria if rented with Gym or Auditorium*

 

Lighting and Sound Services:

$25.00 per hour per supervisor

$8.25 per hour per student operator

 

 

For-profit Organizations

Custodial fee: $45.00 per hour per custodian (minimum of 2 hours)

$100.00 per hour for use of Gymnasium

$150.00 per hour for use of Auditorium

$100.00 per hour (minimum of 2 hours) for use of Kitchen or Cafeteria

$50.00 per hour (minimum of 2 hours) for use of Kitchen or Cafeteria if rented with Gym or Auditorium*

*When Kitchen facilities are to be used, a food service company employee must be present, and any related charges incurred by HCHS Principal of Education will be added to the billing statement for that organization.

 

Rehearsal Time

Rental of school facilities for rehearsal time shall be based upon the classified status of the applicant.  The rental fee shall be one-half (½) the scheduled amount plus the regular charge for service personnel necessary.  The reduced rate is for one rehearsal only.  Additional rehearsals for the same activity will be charged the standard rental fee.  The Principal has the right to waive all or parts of fees.

 

Air Conditioning Surcharge

When areas with air conditioning are to be used, a $50.00 per hour surcharge will be added to the billing statement for that organization based upon the hours requested and the required pre-cooling period as necessary.  The Principal has the right to waive parts or all of fees.

 

Security

The Principal will determine if security is needed and additional cost(s) will be added to the agreement.

 

The school will pay the security fee.

 Dress-Down Day Fundraisers

Request Policy
 
Any organization that wishes to host a dress-down day fundraiser at Holy Cross High School must submit a dress-down day request formOnce you submit your dress-down day request form, it will be reviewed by the Director of Activities and presented to the Student Council.  If approved, your dress-down day may be scheduled for the next available open dress down day or the date requested.  Holy Cross holds a limited number of dress-down days during the year, and not all requests can be honored.  The choice of organizations to receive dress-down day fundraisers is at the sole discretion of the Director of Student Activities and the Student Council Executive Board.

Tuesday, November 24th (AIDS Coalition of Southern New Jersey Toy Drive)
Tuesday, December 22nd (Habitat for Humanity)
Tuesday, January 26th (Special Olympics)
Tuesday, February 23rd (Mission Club)
Tuesday, March 30th (Ovarian Cancer)
Tuesday, April 27th (Cystic Fibrosis)
Tuesday, May 18th (PTA)
